Andrea Braido

Andrea Braido was born in Trento in 1964, and started playing drums when he was 4 years old, moved by a strong passion and supported by his artistically and culturally open family. He played drums in many local bands performing at parties, weddings, etc...

After that he graduated in music theory  and at the age of 12 he started playing guitar as a self taught, learning any kind of music he had the opportunity to listen to.
After a short trip to Boston and New York at 20 and after many jam sessions done with local great musicians, he went back to Italy and started working as a pro musician. He plays any kind of guitar, bass, drums and percussions.

During his career he played with many great artists in studio and live:
Nicolette Larson – Pierangelo Bertoli – Patty Pravo – Francesco Baccini – Vasco Rossi – Zucchero – Raf – Gatto Panceri – Eros Ramazzotti – Mina – Bruno Lauzi – Franz di Cioccio – Riccardo Fogli – Adriano Celentano – Ligabue – Antonella Ruggiero – Paola Turci – Enzo Jannacci – Angelo Branduardi – Laura Pausini – Frank Gambale – TM Stevens – Carl Palmer – Marcus Miller and many others...

He also played in orchestras for TV shows like: “Stasera Pago io” 1° & 2° edition hosted by Fiorello, he played with many international artists like Liza Minelli, Lenny Kravitz, Dionne Warwick, Lionel Richie etc

He recorded many albums as a composer and band leader, 10 of them with Videoradio label with Beppe Aleo, here are a few:
Sensazioni Nel Tempo/Latin Braidus/Braidus in Funk/Jazz Garden & Friends/Braidus with Bulgarian Orchestra.

He also made 2 instructional DVDs and a transcription book with his famous solos he played in many great records.

Today Andrea plays guitar and bass both live and studio with his original music and with many artists.
