Ciro Manna was born in 1981, and at 14 dedicated himself to classical guitar. After two years he switched to electric guitar, but later returned to classical studies and passed his eighth year exam at the conservatory.

At 17 Ciro started playing in clubs with various artists. He studied at Università della Musica (Rome) with many of Italy’s top guitarists, also attending various workshops with international guitar players including Mike Stern, Andy Timmons, Carl Verheyen, Guthrie Govan and Mats Hedberg.

In 2007 he released his debut CD “Feel ‘N Groove” a rock-funk with jazz contaminations, with Antonio Muto on drums, Marco Galiero on bass, Angelo Abate on keyboards, as well as special guests Pietropaolo Veltre (bass) and Alex Argento (keys). The CD won praise from magazines and websites in Sweden and the US, and airplay in Italy and Australia.
Since 2008, Ciro has collaborated with the Associazione “Fa Re musica” in Santa Maria a Vico, organizing clinics with international guitarists including Frank Gambale, Greg Koch, Steve Vai, Robben Ford, and concerts with Carl Verheyen, Andy Timmons, Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Dave Kilminster, Paul Gilbert, Buddy Whittington (John Mayall) and Kiko Loureiro (Angra), also opening for their concerts.
 

In January 2010, plays in the orchestra directed by Maestro Renato Serio for the " Epiphany Concert " broadcast on Rai 1, accompanying artists such as Moby, Silvia Mezzanotte, Rosalia de Souza. On the occasion of the concert "Ten stars for Mother Teresa" ( December 2010), broadcast on RAI 1, plays in the orchestra of Maestro Bruno Santori, accompanying artists such as Ivana Spagna, Amedeo Minghi, Stadio; in January 2011, he participate in the next edition of the "Epiphany Concert" always broadcast on RAI 1 and conducted by Maestro Renato Serio , playing with Matia Bazar, Simona Molinari, Audio 2 And Sarah Jane Morris.
