Gianfranco Continenza's lesson and interview to Don Mock on Just Jazz Guitar.

Sept. 24, 2013, 4:15 p.m.

"As a huge fan of Don Mock since my teenage years,"
–says Gianfranco– "I was learning my first steps in Jazz and Fusion guitar from his fantastic instructional books and videos. In the early ‘90’s I moved to Hollywood to studing with Don at GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology) and nearly 20 years later I was honored to have him recording with me an acoustic song: “Dinner on Melrose Avenue” recorded with the Multiamp by DV Mark  (from my upcoming  album “Dusting The Time”), a composition of mine (dedicated to Don) I wrote as a memento of a great dinner we had together in 1992 at an Italian restaurant on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles. We both also have recorded an original track for the second ESC Records double Cd “Mahavishnu Re-Defined II”, a tribute album to John McLaughlin and his Mahavishnu Orchestra using DV Mark Amps."
