Pippo Seno was born in Naples in 1970. At the young age of fourteen, he was chosen as the winner of the ASCHIT Festival Nazionale di Chitarra, and won again in 1986. He also won the national “Città di Pescara” guitar contest in 1985 and 1988. While studying classical guitar, he worked on many children’s musical TV shows with Cino Tortorella (Mago Zurlì).
He started playing with bands in the Campania live music scene, and at 16 started touring with Umberto Napolitano and collaborating with other artists including Tony Cicco (Formula3), Lypstic (band produced by Pooh), and Ivan Cattaneo. Pippo then began a longstanding tenure with the Neapolitan band Con…Fusion, and Radioattiva, with whom he still performs when not on tour with other artists.
Other collaborations in the following years included the Marina Rei “Anime Belle” Tour in 1999, performing in the top Italian clubs and on TV shows. He collaborated again with Laura Falcinelli at the Festival di San Remo 2000, and toured with Joe Barbieri.
After that, he started a long collaboration with Gigi D’Alessio, including five World Tours and all the winter and summer tours since 2001. They also played on all the RAI and Mediaset TV shows, from Taratatà to Domenica In; Bunona Domenica; Top of Pop; Festival Bar; WMW, and many more. He performed again at the Festival di San Remo 2008 as Super Guests with Gigi D’Alessio and Lara Fabian.

In recent years his live performances at the Arena di Verona and at the ‘Olympia’ in Paris was released on DVD. He performed on RAI 1 TV in the orchestra directed by the M. Leonardo De Amicis and conducted by Gigi D’Alessio, titled “Questo sono io.” Pippo’s live performance with Gigi D’Alessio at Stadio Olimpico in Roma will be released on DVD, as well as a concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
