Branko Trijic was born in Belgrade in 1975. At age 12, he started playing in a traditional folk ensemble. He graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (one of the leading European schools for jazz and modern music) in 2005. Branko is the bandleader and composer of the group Konzilium. They released a major-label CD in 2007 called “Konzilium Live.”
Branko has recorded on over 20 albums as a studio musician for numerous bands. He has worked with: Patrice Blanchard, Ali Rose-sabar, Cissoko Mamadou, Gvineja, Konarak Reddy, Niti Ranjan Bishvas, Arie den Buer, Vasilis Karipis, Trio Sveti, Marko Djordjevic, Vasil Hadzimanov, Dylan Fowle, Deca Losih Muzicara, Balkanopolis, Rambo Amadeus, Ljubisa Stojanovic Luis and many others.
Branko composed the music for two documentary movies in the production of “Ministry of educational improvement RS.”
Branko founded the Belgrade Guitar School.
